Daniel Kings popularly known on stage as Danny Roy is a talented gospel artist born in Lagos Nigeria, a seasoned vocalist and a song writer. His passion for gospel music started as a child after then he began honing his skills and developing his craft by the grace of God, so he share the gift to the world. He came from a household that love the sound of worship, so blending into gospel music came quite easy for him.
How long have you been in the music industry?
I released my debut album For Love in 2017, marking my full entry into the music scene. So, I’ve been actively involved in the industry for about seven years now.
What inspired you to join the music industry?
My deep passion for music has always been a driving force. I began composing complex music at just six years old and developed my contratenor vocals early on. My desire has always been to bless the kingdom through my gifts, with God playing a significant role in this journey.
What keeps you going despite all challenges?
My unwavering love for music, the desire to please God, and the overwhelming love I receive from my fans keep me motivated. The support from my fans is so immense that it often leaves me feeling deeply moved.

Because Of Love is a worship song that expresses complete love and surrender to God. It incorporates elements of R&B and folk into the gospel genre. I wrote this song during a time of personal struggle, pouring out my heart to God for His indescribable love and faithfulness. I’m thrilled that it has reached millions around the world.
Tell us more about ‘Because of Love’ and the inspiration behind the song.
Because Of Love emerged from a place of deep dedication to God. During a challenging period in my life, I felt compelled to surrender entirely to Him. The lyrics, “Because of Your Love I will Give You My All,” reflect this surrender. The song features colorful vocals and embellishments, showcasing a rich expression of intimacy with God.
Where do you see yourself in the next five years?
I envision climbing new heights in my career, reaching billions, and making a significant impact in the gospel scene. My goal is to transform lives and be a voice of change and empowerment on a larger scale.
