Amobichukwu Christian Chukwunedum, known as Min. Chukwunedum Chris (Chris Cee), is a gospel artist from EgboEZE North, Enugu State. Launching his music career in 2015, he has performed live extensively and released one album. Inspired by mentors Prince Gozie Okeke and Mini Able Cee, Chris continues to impact lives through gospel music.

1. What motivated you to join the music industry?
My passion for music began in childhood. I have always loved to sing, and from an early age, I felt a strong connection to music. Singing was not just a hobby but a way for me to express my faith and emotions.
2. Why did you choose Gospel music?
I grew up in a Christian home and have always been deeply rooted in the church. I consider myself a ‘church boy’ raised with strong Christian values. Gospel music was a natural path for me, allowing me to share my faith and inspire others.
3. Can you tell us more about your new album, ‘Chim Luru Olu’?
‘Chim Luru Olu’ is a divine project that holds a special place in my heart. The title track was given to me by God in a dream several years ago. This album reflects the spiritual journey I have been on and the messages God placed in my heart to share with the world.
4. Did you face any challenges while working on the album?
Yes, the production process was quite technical. There were moments when we faced obstacles in ensuring the quality of the sound and arrangements met the vision I had for the album. However, through perseverance and divine guidance, we overcame those challenges.
5. What inspired the track ‘Oke Muo Jesus’ from the album?
‘Oke Muo Jesus’ was inspired by a personal experience where God fought significant battles in my life. I was searching for the perfect name to honor and glorify Him, and during that process, this song was birthed.
6. What is the meaning behind the track ‘Ndum di Na Aka Gi’?
‘Ndum di Na Aka Gi’ translates to ‘My life is in Your hands.’ The song is a declaration of surrender and trust in God, acknowledging His sovereignty and control over my life.
7. Do you think non-Igbos can relate to your songs?
Absolutely. Although some of my songs are in Igbo, the messages they carry are universal and rooted in inspiration and spirituality. Music is a universal language, and I believe the emotions and themes will resonate with people regardless of their background or language.
8. Where do you see yourself in the next five years?
By God’s grace, I believe my journey will continue to grow, and my future will surpass my present. I envision reaching more people, producing more albums, and expanding the scope of my ministry globally.
