Lagos, Nigeria — December 6, 2025
The vibrant grounds of Freedom Park, Lagos, came alive on Saturday, December 6, 2025, as the FameNet Food and Music Xmas Concert delivered an unforgettable fusion of worship, artistry, and Afrobeat celebration. The annual event drew a large and diverse crowd, uniting families, youths, creatives, and music lovers in a festive atmosphere filled with sound, culture, and good vibes.

The concert kicked off with a spiritually charged Gospel Session featuring a powerful lineup of FameNet’s gospel ministers.
Performances from Praise Oracle, Paul C.J, Joseph iKING, Tripple M1, SM Omojerusalem, Onise Iyanu, and several other ministers created a deeply emotional worship atmosphere. Their energetic praise, soul-lifting worship sets, and inspirational messages filled the park with an overwhelming sense of joy and unity, grounding the evening in the true spirit of Christmas.

Adding artistic depth to the concert, young spoken word sensation Adaugo Anaba captivated the audience with her heartfelt performance. Her poetry, laced with rhythm, introspection, and youthful passion, lit up the space and drew enthusiastic applause. Her segment stood out as a refreshing creative highlight that beautifully bridged the gap between the gospel and Afrobeat segments of the night.

As the evening transitioned, the tempo shifted into full Afrobeat energy. A vibrant lineup of performers kept the crowd on their feet with electrifying sets.

Artists including MC Vourcaster, Daffyd Silva, Jay Jay Max, Wisdom Palata, Mskel Americana, Ama Frank Cassidy, Ibile Branch, and Culture Boy each brought their signature style to the stage, amplifying the celebratory spirit.

The night reached an explosive high when AmEE—the Afrocentric artist who also served as the Concert Coordinator—delivered a standout performance. His fusion of African rhythms, contemporary beats, and crowd engagement set Freedom Park buzzing with excitement.

Ms. Amaka Udeani, CEO of FameNet Africa, appreciated the audience, partners, and artists who contributed to the success of the event. She emphasized FameNet’s mission of uplifting African talent and fostering unity through creative expression.
“FameNet is committed to creating spaces where music, food, and culture connect people. Tonight, we witnessed the beauty of community, talent, and the Christmas spirit all in one place,” she said.

With its seamless blend of gospel reverence, spoken word artistry, and Afrobeat vibrance, the FameNet Food and Music Xmas Concert delivered an unforgettable experience. The event not only showcased Nigeria’s diverse creative landscape but also reinforced FameNet’s growing influence in shaping cultural and entertainment platforms across Africa.

As the night wound down, attendees left Freedom Park with glowing smiles, renewed energy, and memories of a concert that truly celebrated the season in grand style.
