My name is Adaugo Gift Anaba, popularly known by my stage name Adaugo Anaba Speaks. I am a passionate spoken word artist, using poetry as a tool to inspire, educate, and transform lives. I was born on May 19, 2014, in Lagos State, Nigeria, where I currently reside. I am proudly Nigerian and deeply rooted in values of faith, purpose, and creativity. I am the daughter of Mr. Chibuzor Anaba and Mrs. Gift Anaba, who have both played significant roles in nurturing my confidence, talent, and love for God. Through spoken word, I express powerful messages that encourage faith, unity, and hope in today’s world.

2. What Inspired or Motivated You to Pursue a Career as a Spoken Word Artist?

My journey into spoken word was inspired by a deep desire to act for impact. I felt a strong calling to speak truth, inspire courage, encourage faith, and constantly remind people of God’s unconditional love. Spoken word became my voice and my ministry. Through it, I found a way to touch hearts, uplift spirits, and challenge minds positively. Knowing that my words can heal, inspire, and transform lives continues to motivate me daily to grow in this craft.

3. When Did You Officially Begin Your spoken Word Career?

I officially began my spoken word career in May 2023. At that point, I discovered my potential and decided to take my gift seriously. With God’s grace and guidance, I committed myself fully to spoken word artistry. Since then, I have been performing at churches, programs, and major events, gaining confidence, experience, and recognition along the way. Each performance has strengthened my belief that this is my divine assignment.

4. Have You Recorded or Released Any Spoken Words?

Yes, I have recorded and officially released three spoken word pieces. These works reflect my passion for faith, purpose, and national consciousness. My released spoken words are titled “The Book,” “Made for More,” and “National Unity.” Each piece carries a powerful message aimed at inspiring individuals, strengthening faith, and promoting love and unity within society.
