Vice President Kashim Shettima has called on Nigerians to remain steadfast in their support for President Bola Tinubu’s administration in order to achieve enduring peace, stability, and prosperity across the nation.
Speaking during the Eid al-Adha prayers at the National Eid Ground along Airport Road in Abuja on Friday, Shettima emphasized the importance of national unity and collective sacrifice. He urged citizens to rise above ethnic, religious, and political differences, and instead, work together in pursuit of a shared national vision.
“This season reminds us of the profound lessons of Prophet Ibrahim—obedience, sacrifice, and unwavering faith,” the Vice President said. “Now more than ever, we must come together as one people, united in purpose, to move our country forward.”
Shettima stressed that true progress can only be achieved when Nigerians embrace their common humanity and commit to building bridges of understanding and cooperation. He added that unity and selfless service are essential pillars for the development and future of Nigeria.
