The Advanced Leadership Conference 2025, themed “Build To Last,” was successfully held on Friday, November 28, 2025, at the Donald Ekong Library, University of Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Nigeria.

The conference commenced with the arrival and accreditation of special guests of honour, conference speakers, and participants at the registration desk. Activities formally began at about 10:00 a.m. with an opening prayer led by Ambassador Dennis Chucks, followed by the rendition of the Nigerian National Anthem.

In his welcome address, the Convener of the conference, Ambassador Daniel Emmanuel Goodluck, expressed gratitude to the participants and highlighted the importance of building sustainable leadership structures that can endure the test of time.

The first keynote session was delivered by Dr. Mercy Bello Abu, who spoke on “Building a Sustainable Business Model.” Her presentation set the tone for the conference, offering practical insights into long-term organizational growth and leadership sustainability.

Goodwill messages were delivered by special guests of honour, including a representative of the Permanent Secretary, Rivers State Ministry of Youth Development, Mrs. Veronica O., who conveyed the government’s support for youth and leadership development initiatives. Another goodwill message was delivered by Prof. Inyang Etukudoh Okon, Senior Lecturer at the Nigerian Naval College of Accounts and Finance, Owerrinta, Abia State, who commended the organizers for promoting impactful leadership discourse.

Other conference speakers, including Mrs. Princess Victor, KP Asaba, and Victor Uzoma, took turns delivering impactful sessions that further enriched participants’ understanding of leadership and personal development.

A panel session followed, featuring panelists Chioma Offurum, Pastor Greatman Badom, and Kingsley Ime. The session, moderated by Emmanuel Uche, provided an interactive platform for discussions and questions from participants on contemporary leadership challenges.

The event was hosted by Princess Ekakitie, whose coordination contributed significantly to the smooth flow of the programme. This was followed by the presentation of awards of recognition and appreciation to guest speakers and panelists in acknowledgment of their contributions.

The conference also featured moments for group and individual photography, fostering networking and lasting memories among attendees.

The event concluded with closing remarks from the Convener, Ambassador Daniel Emmanuel Goodluck, who thanked all participants for contributing to the success of the conference. A closing prayer was offered by Dr. Esther Wordu.

Organizers expressed appreciation to all attendees and announced that the Advanced Leadership Conference would return in 2026.
