FameNet Reality TV Show – Maiden Edition (May 2026) – Let your Music be Heard

FameNet Africa, a music talent platform for rising artists, is set to launch the maiden edition of FameNet Reality TV Show to be held in May 2026—an artists -promotional reality series created for upcoming Nigerian artists to showcase their originality. Unlike shows focused on popular cover songs, FameNet enables contestants to perform their own music, providing them with a strong platform for mainstream and social media visibility.

The initiative welcomes partners, volunteers, and sponsors to support rising talents. The show addresses common challenges faced by emerging artists—limited exposure, high promotional costs, and industry barriers—by offering an affordable, accessible platform where contestants can grow their fan base, promote their songs weekly through voting, and gain media exposure. It is open for all genres, both gospel, highlife, and other secular artists.

Show Format

• 50 contestants selected from across Lagos & Nigeria, camped for 5 weekends in Lagos
• Weekly Saturday broadcasts on DSTV, GOTV (Hip TV), and YouTube
• Weekly evictions (10 contestants each weekend)
• Weekend camping for pre-recorded live performances
• Judges appear on five Saturdays (four performance weeks + the finale)
• Top 20 advance to the finals; Top 5 perform at the finale and FameNet Fans Awards

Judges  &  Performance Criteria

Each contestant is assessed through a combination of Fans votes and judges’ scores.

• Voting: ₦100 per vote
  Votes keep artists in the house, while performance quality determines where their music will be aired.

  • Weekly Top 10 performances air on YouTube + Hip TV
  • Other Performances airs on YouTube only
  • All performances will also be promoted on Various social media

Judges Criteria

1. Vocal & Performance
   Evaluates vocal strength, stage presence, creativity, and delivery; guides contestants in improving live performance skills.
2. Music Production & Originality
   Reviews lyrics, originality, beats, composition, and sound identity; offers professional insights to boost commercial appeal.
3. Industry & Marketability Judge
   Assesses branding, star potential, fan engagement, and overall marketability; mentors contestants on building a sustainable music career.

• After registering, obtain your Voting Flyer and share it with fans, friends, and family to qualify.

How to Qualify as a Housemate

• You need 1,000 votes to qualify.
• The first 50 contestants to reach 1,000 votes between January 31 – March 30, 2026, will enter the FameNet House.
•  All participants who couldn’t qualify will receive a 10% commission from their total votes as a consolation bonus.

Grand Finale

The season ends with the FameNet Fans Awards, inviting all 50 contestants and their top fans, celebrating winners, exceptional talents, and dedicated supporters who actively engaged throughout the show.
