My real name is Mathew Adeyemi, and I am popularly known by my stage name Onise Iyanu. I am a Gospel music artist called to minister through songs that uplift souls and glorify God. I am currently based in Ikorodu, Lagos State, Nigeria. I was born on 24th June 1983 in Ikeja, Lagos State. I am the son of Mr. Adeyemi Mathew, who has played an important role in shaping my character and values. My background and life experiences have greatly influenced my passion for gospel music.
2. What Inspired or Motivated You to Pursue Music?
My journey into music began from childhood. I discovered early in life that singing brought me a deep sense of joy and fulfillment. Whenever I sang, I felt peace within me, and people around me were often blessed by my voice. Over time, I realized that this joy was not ordinary but a divine gift from God. This realization motivated me to nurture and develop the talent instead of ignoring it. Music became my way of expressing my faith, sharing hope, and ministering to people spiritually.
3. When did you officially begin your Music Career?
I officially began my music career in 2017. This was the year I took a bold step to turn my passion into a professional calling by recording my first album with my producer. That decision marked the beginning of my journey as a gospel music artist, and since then, I have remained dedicated to growth, consistency, and excellence in my music ministry.
4. Have you recorded and released Songs?
Yes, I have recorded and released several gospel songs that reflect my faith, prayers, and testimonies. My released songs include:
- Arugbo Ojo
- My Destiny Helpers
- Emilokan (Anure Nimonbere)
- Alagbara Lolorunmi
- Mose Kabiosi
- Majenjiya Yigbe
Each of these songs carries a strong spiritual message aimed at encouraging listeners and strengthening their faith in God.

I registered for the FameNet Reality TV Show 2026 because I truly desire to showcase my God-given talent to the world. The platform provides a unique opportunity for exposure, professional guidance, and audience expansion.
