Wisdom Palata is a rising Afrobeat artist and will be participating in the FameNet Reality TV Show coming up in May 2026. In this brief interview with FameNet Africa, Wisdom Palata speaks about his music career and humbly asks for your support and votes to qualify as a housemate. The first 50 artists to reach 1,000 votes at ₦100 per vote between now and March 30, 2026, will be selected.
1. Could you introduce yourself?
My name is Wisdom Ifeanyi Edunna, popularly known by my stage name Wisdom Palata. I am an Afrobeat musical artist and songwriter, proudly representing vibrant African sounds and stories. I currently reside in Lagos State, a place that keeps me close to the heartbeat of the Nigerian music industry. I was born on May 5 into the royal family of Chief Mathis Onele Edunna Onele and Lolo Mrs. Cecelia Nwaogboji Onele Edunna, of Agbor Umuezeokoha Kingdom. My background, culture, and family heritage play a strong role in shaping my identity and my music.
2. What inspired or motivated you to pursue a career in music?
My inspiration comes from God Almighty alone. Music is the one thing that truly gives me joy and peace. I believe music is already inside me; it is part of who I am. That belief is what has kept me moving forward despite challenges. Even as a songwriter, I continue to push myself because music is not just my career—it is my calling and my source of happiness.
3. When did you officially begin your music career?
I officially began my professional music journey in 2011. That year marked a major turning point for me, as I released my EP in the eastern part of Nigeria, where my music received strong acceptance and encouragement.
4. Have you recorded or released any songs? If yes, kindly list all released songs?.
Yes, I have recorded and released several songs over the years. My EP sold about 5,000 copies in Onitsha, Anambra State, which motivated me greatly. Some of my recorded songs include:
Jamboree, Be My Girl, How Much I Love You, Think About the Children, Hands Up, Feel My Pain, and many others. These songs reflect real-life experiences, emotions, love, struggle, and hope.
5. Why did you register for the FameNet Reality TV Show 2026?
I registered for the FameNet Reality TV Show 2026 because FameNet Africa has been the only music platform that has stayed sincere and consistent with me for over three years. They have supported my journey and helped take my music career to the next level. I strongly believe that with God, everything is possible, and FameNet Africa has already played a huge role in expanding my career internationally.
6. Do you believe you can be among the first 50 artists to reach 1,000 votes and qualify as a housemate?
Of course, I believe nothing can stop me. I have already walked a long journey, and I am very close to my destination. Becoming a housemate of FameNet Reality TV Show 2026 is just the next step. Wisdom Palata will not carry last. My faith, experience, and determination keep me moving forward.
7. What message do you have for your fans, and how can they support you to qualify for the show?
To my fans both at home and abroad, I want to say thank you for giving me hope and strength. Your love and support have already placed me on the path to qualification. I ask you all to continue standing by me, believing in me, and supporting me as I move closer to becoming a FameNet housemate.
8. How would you feel if you eventually qualify as one of the FameNet housemates?
I would be extremely glad and grateful to FameNet Africa for giving me such a wonderful opportunity. It would be a proud moment in my career and a reward for years of persistence, faith, and hard work.
9. Where do you see yourself in the next five (5) years?
After the FameNet Africa Reality TV Show, I see myself as a big bird flying beyond the sky—a globally recognized Afrobeat artist making impact, inspiring the younger generation, and representing Africa on bigger stages around the world.
